Ibiza belongs to the most popular summer holiday destinations in Europe thanks to its beautiful beaches and landscape, great restaurants and the truly perfect place to lean back or to party. On the contrary to that it is often pushed in the background that Ibiza is not less beautiful and equally attractive to explore in the winter months. The moderate climate with usually up to 5 sunshine hours and average temperatures from 9 to 23 degrees from October to January creates the perfect basis for your stay. But that is only one of several benefits, that Ibiza has to offer in winter.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ibiza is less crowded in winter<\/b><\/p>\n

You can enjoy the beauty of the landscape even more, when you do not have to share it with several other tourists. You will have the pleasure to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets on significantly emptier beaches. In that relation, one of the most beautiful beaches can be considered the Cala D\u2019 Hort in the southwest of Ibiza. Having a view on magical Es Vedr\u00e0 – especially during the sunset – is truly stunning. When the sun is shining, you can also have some beach days in the winter months with average water temperatures from 14 to 18 degrees. Even the most popular and longest beach Playa d`en Bossa is of course much emptier with less tourists. Next to this one there are other beautiful beaches like the one in Talamanca, Las Salinas or small bays like Cala Tarida, Cala Xuclar, Cala Mastella that are perfect to discover.<\/span><\/p>\n

And as well other activities like going shopping provide benefits in the winter as the shopping streets are notable less crowded and also popular restaurants offer more tables without any reservation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Especially the New Years Eve parties are legendary on Ibiza and the Pacha stands out with an insane party night. There is a wide range of events and also calmer events like the Nassau Beach Club with usually a six course menu and classical music.<\/span><\/p>\n

In contrast to the party nights Ibiza is perfect for wellness and recovery as well. In Winter the island is seen as the the perfect, quiet place to lean back and to gain new strengths again. In that relation Atzaro, a luxury wellness oasis, is fantastic for spa and relaxation.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the culinary friends is the program Ibiza Sabor from October to December a great gastronomic event that offers menus for smaller prices, local food in creative autumn menus and is combined with a nice atmosphere, local wineries and liqueurs.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can visit the markets, go hiking and explore the island without severe heat<\/b><\/p>\n

There are several hippy and flea markets and even more as the two famous markets Punta Arab\u00ed and Las Dalias. These small markets are atmospheric and offer local delicates, hand-crafted jewelry, clothes or fresh fruits. For example Art & Mercat Sant Antoni in the old town sells special clothing and bags, local food and even offers live music and other entertainment. The Forada Market is considered as a more local market and focuses on selling local food and natural products – formerly founded to support the local farmers. But there are \u00a0also some more lovely markets that should be explored and invite to a walk.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, on Ibiza are many providers of guided tours that are suitable for a moderate climate without the midday heat in the summer. You can look forward to a green landscape, scenic spots with rocks and fascinating coasts with approximately 60 beaches around the whole island.<\/span><\/p>\n

In January and February Ibiza resembles an ocean of pink-white flowers during the time of the almond blossom. Santa In\u00e9s is the must-see in that relation with several hiking tours through the valley with innumerable almond trees. This event is absolutely fascinating both in real life and as a perfect photo spot as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even on some rainy days, Ibiza gives many opportunities to spend the days pleasantly. In terms of cultures are many worth seeing attractions like the Museum of contemporary Art, MACE, or the archeological museum in Dalt Vila which is like a journey to the past with the ancient times. Moreover, there are many galleries and even with well-known exhibitions like the Lune Rouge by the founder of Cirque du Soleil Guy Lalibert\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n
