Ibiza’s winter club scene revives…
The current state of the club scene in Ibiza allows a spark of hope. Due to regulations and restrictions because of Covid19 it was not made easy for them. Not many are open now but a few of them will open their doors on New Year’s Eve 2021/22:
Akasha / Las Dalias:
After a major remodel, the indoor club in Las Dalias reopened on Nov. 4 with a chic new look. With the Dj desk in the middle of the partying guests, you can now dance here again in a home atmosphere to the beats of hip Dj’s. Greats such as Igor Marijuan, Ida Engberg or Los Suruba offer the best sound for the ears every Saturday and Sunday in winter. On New Year’s Eve 31.12.2021 is celebrated from 00:30 clock with the Dj’s MEGABLAST, ORIOL CALVO and SILVIA OPERÈ in the new year!
DC10:
The legendary club DC10 at the airport has opened this winter again with one of its most famous parties CIRCOLOCO. Already in October there were 3 parties with Dj greats like Tale of us, Adam Beyer, Sven Väth, Amelie Lens, Solomun, Seth Troxler, Dixon and many more…. All events were completely sold out and many people traveled to the island especially for these events. This moved the organizers to start their world famous “New Year’s Day” party again. On 01.01.2022 it starts at 16:00 clock until 02.01.2022 at 05:00 clock
Line-Up: Adriatique, Bambounou, Chloé Caillet, Cici, FJAAK dj set, Indira Paganotto, Intersteller Funk, La La Lau.ra, Luuk van Dijk, Jimi Jules, Saoirse, Shubostar, Tanja Vulcano and TSHA.
Lió:
The well-known Lió in the port of Ibiza will also offer a “special event” for its guests on New Year’s Eve. Already since the summer one can admire here again the spectacular and glamorous dinner shows. On New Year’s Eve on Dec. 31, 2021, Lió will first invite guests to a “Special Dinner” with a magic show starting at 8:30 p.m., and then from 00:30 a.m. the New Year will be celebrated in the small club with Spanish Dj’s Sebastian Gamboa and Lunnas!
It Ibiza:
With a magnificent view of the port and the old town of Dalt Vila, the hip IT Ibiza Lounge in Marina Botafoc is a perfect meeting place to enjoy the winter season with good music. In addition to excellent Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, the restaurant also offers the best evening entertainment with local Dj’s and live music from Wednesdays to Sundays. At the turn of the year, chef Massimo Larosa invites you to a “New Year’s Eve” 4-course menu with music by Rayco Santos and Sara de Araújo.
At the moment, the pandemic situation in Ibiza allows events over 50 people to take place with the 3-G rule and mask requirement. This means that one must either show proof of covid vaccination or a convalescent ID card, or show a PCR test (up to 72 hrs before) or antigen test (up to 48 hrs before). Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to say how the club scene will continue to develop. However, we are optimistic that the situation will continue to improve and that more clubs will be able to reopen at the beginning of the season 2022.
